Recently, the nation’s first 5G coal mine inauguration conference was held in Taiyuan and Beijing. Governor Lin Wu attended the launch event. Hu Yuting, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, and Yang Jie, Chairman of China Mobile, delivered speeches. The observation group composed of Chairman Zhang Gaoping of Qinhe Energy, General Manager Yan Jiaqiang, Chief Engineer Wang Guoqiang, and Deputy Chief Engineer Sha Haiting attended the meeting.

　　　During the meeting, they listened to China Mobile's 5G+ smart mine construction report, watched 5G smart mining equipment and application demonstrations, and learned about the smart management effects of the first 5G coal mine on- and underground collaboration, smart tunneling, and safety inspection. Experience the revolutionary changes brought about by 5G new technology to mining, and seek and discuss the construction model of Qinhe Energy 5G coal mine.

　　The country's first 5G coal mine was completed in the Xinyuan Coal Mine of Yangmei Group, jointly built by China Mobile, Yangmei Group and Huawei. The mine has built a 5G dedicated network 534 meters underground, and launched three 5G applications: unmanned inspection of electromechanical chambers, unmanned operation of driving faces, and unmanned operation of fully mechanized mining faces, realizing unmanned, automated, and visualized operation of the mine.

　　This launch event will be held in Taiyuan and Beijing using an online + on-site approach. At the meeting, China Mobile signed 5G strategic cooperation agreements with coal companies such as Coking Coal Group, Datong Coal Group, Jinmei Group, Jinneng Group and other leading enterprises and ecological partners in the industry.

　　　The participation in this conference provided policy compliance, benchmarking and reference models for Qinhe Energy’s 5G intelligent mine construction, accelerated the promotion of green and intelligent coal mining for Qinhe Energy, promoted the integration and innovation of 5G and the mining industry, and improved safety management. And production efficiency has a very important meaning.
