Shanxi Herui New Energy Development Co., Ltd. is located in Duanshi Village, Duanshi Town, Qinshui County, with a registered capital of 11.63 million yuan. Since its establishment, the company has adopted advanced production technology to make full use of the rich gas resources in coal mines, and is committed to the deep development and utilization of mine gas to realize power generation and heating.

The total installed capacity of the enterprise is 45 MW, and the construction is completed in two phases. It uses a 2000-kilowatt generator set produced by Caterpillar of the United States. The first phase of 27 MW, including 12 generator sets and 3000 kW steam turbine generator sets, was connected to the grid for power generation in September 2011; the second phase of 18 MW, including 9 units, was put into operation in April 2015. In 2017, the company invested more than 16 million yuan to construct and complete air pollution prevention and environmental protection denitrification projects, and fully achieved emission standards. As of the end of 2019, the cumulative power generation was 1.19 billion kWh and the operating income was 570 million yuan.
